What is a bear market?
A bear market is a market condition in which asset prices – such as stocks, bonds or cryptocurrencies – are decreasing over a prolonged period of time.
What are the characteristics of a bear market?
Typically, a bear market can result in a decline in recent assets’ highs which leads to pessimistic investor sentiment and expectations that prices will keep on declining.A bear market is also generally a synonym for increased volatility and lower trading activity.
